2025 5th International Conference on Digital Society and Intelligent Systems (DSInS 2025) was successfully held from November 7 to 9 at the Hainan University International Academic Exchange Center Hotel in Haikou, Hainan, and concluded smoothly.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Mengxing Huang from Hainan University, with addresses delivered by Vice President Xiaofeng Zhu from Hainan University and Professor Tianrui Li from Southwest Jiaotong University, the conference chair. The two distinguished guests introduced the keynote experts in attendance, emphasized the significant importance of the integrated development of digital society and intelligent systems, fully affirmed the conference's role in promoting disciplinary progress and industry-academia-research collaboration, and expressed sincere gratitude and a warm welcome to the scholars attending both on-site and online.

The conference agenda was diverse, featuring keynote speeches, panel discussion, oral presentations, and poster sessions, among other segments. The morning keynote speeches session invited four renowned experts to deliver speeches, including Professor Mengxing Huang from Hainan University, Professor Wensheng Zhang from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Dan  Zhang from Zhejiang University of Technology, and Associate Professor Ye  Liang from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Centering on the theme of "Digital Society and Intelligent Systems," they shared the latest research advancements and development trends in their respective fields.

During the afternoon panel discussion, we specially invited Assistant Researcher Jie  Wang from Southwest Jiaotong University as the moderator, along with participants including Associate Professor Wei Zhou from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Associate Professor Kai Zeng from Kunming University of Science and Technology, Associate Researcher Pengfei Zhang from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Associate Researcher Hao Wang from Sichuan University, and Assistant Professor Tiehua Zhang from Tongji University. The six guests engaged in an in-depth dialogue on "Technological Evolution and Scientific Exploration in the Era of Large Models," providing inspiring research ideas and insights for the scholars present.

The conference also included award sessions for papers, posters, and oral presentations. The review panel conducted rigorous evaluations of the submissions based on criteria such as academic innovation, research value, and on-site presentation, ultimately selecting nine participants to receive the Best Awards.

The conference attracted over 100 scholars participating on-site and more than 30 representatives attending online. Participants came from universities, research institutions, and enterprises, encompassing various groups such as professors, researchers, engineers, and graduate students. In-depth discussions were held on relevant topics, effectively promoting academic communication and collaboration among domestic and international scholars in related fields.
